We are an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference with 12 varsity teams, including men's baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; and women's basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. So far, we've won 24 NCAA championships, had 338 All-Americans, 413 Scholar All-Americans, and nine NCAA "Women of the Year" finalists, the most of any Division II school. Not bad at all, but we're going for more.

Year/Classification: Senior Hometown: Brown’s Town St. Ann, Jamaica What is your favorite location on campus? - Thompson hall/lounge area Why did you choose Barry? - I chose Barry because of its intimate classroom setting that allows for students to connect with their professors. Why I am a student ambassador I became a student ambassador because I would like to expand my leadership skills. I also enjoyed events THAT were held for incoming freshman. Campus involvement: - Student ambassador - Resident assistant - Barry radio assistant Advice you would give your high school self now that you are a Barry buccaneer? Never tell yourself you can’t do something until you’ve tried and tried again. Tips for someone searching for the right college? Even though going to a large university may seem fun and more exciting, attending a more intimate college will provide you with the networking skills for your future endeavors, and build lasting relationships and connections. Service opportunity you’ve participated in? - International coastal clean up - College brides walk - Feeding the less fortunate What are your future plans? - Have my own business in the culinary market . - Become an account executive assistant and then becoming an account director.
