Anthony Allen

Anthony Palmieri is a highly credentialed and certified professional investigator and auditor, and regarded as a pioneer in the field of guardianship monitoring. As the Deputy Inspector General and Chief Guardianship Investigator for the Clerk & Comptroller, Palm Beach County, Anthony helped launch the Clerk’s award-winning Guardianship Monitoring Program, which was amongst the first of its kind in the nation. In his role at the Clerk’s office, Anthony also serves as the Administrative Coordinator for the Clerks’ Statewide Investigations Alliance, a coalition of accredited inspector general offices from across the state that investigate guardianships on behalf of the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, Office of Public and Professional Guardians (OPPG). Anthony is a nationally recognized expert on Silver Collar Crimes perpetrated against the elderly, and has been invited to speak throughout the United States and globally about his work auditing and investigating guardianship cases. He has personally audited and investigated more than 2,000 guardianships looking for signs of fraud, waste, and abuse.
