Biography

Saima Wazed Hossain is a recipient of the Distinguished Barry Alumni Award for her work in international advocacy on autism, mental health and disability at the United Nations and the World Health Organization, which she continues to do through her not-for-profit organization in Bangladesh (Shuchona Foundation). She obtained her masters in clinical psychology and specialist in school psychology at BU and has worked across the state of Florida as a school psychologist for many years. Currently she is completing her doctorate in Education Leadership at ADSOE and working full time as the Clinical Instructor for the Department of School Psychology.
