Biography

Emilie A. Ney is an Associate Professor in the School Psychology program. After studying Psychology and Spanish at the University of Richmond, she obtained a PhD in School Psychology at Texas A&M University with a concentration in serving diverse and bilingual populations. Before joining the Barry University faculty full time in 2011, she spent time gaining clinical experience in various settings with at-risk populations. Dr. Ney's primary research interests include investigating ways to best serve bilingual students in schools. Her clinical interests include bilingual psychoeducational assessment.
