We are an NCAA Division II school and a member of the Sunshine State Conference with 12 varsity teams, including men's baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis; and women's basketball, golf, rowing, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. So far, we've won 24 NCAA championships, had 338 All-Americans, 413 Scholar All-Americans, and nine NCAA "Women of the Year" finalists, the most of any Division II school. Not bad at all, but we're going for more.

What I like best about Barry University: The culture at Barry University is what I enjoy most. From the moment I started at Barry, everyone has been so inviting and invested in bettering each other. Everyone is always willing to lend a hand. This mindset is even prevalent when interacting with our promising student body here at Barry. College search tip: First and foremost, start the discussion with friends and family about your strengths and weaknesses. Consider your aspirations and reflect on where you find yourself wanting to grow the most. From there, see what degree program has features that will highlight your strengths and help improve upon your weaknesses to ensure your chosen college and degree program is the right fit. My favorite thing to do in Miami: Cooking with good friends and sitting by the beach
